Awesome day trip to Watamu!
Distant Relatives hit up Watamu for a day visiting the likes of; Mida Creek for some serene bird watching and mangrove oyster snatching, Bio-Ken Snake Farm to learn anti-venom making and handling colourful snakes, and The Crab Shack – possibly the most picturesque restaurant in Kilifi with the added bonus of all profits going towards community projects.
The noise the male tortoise made still haunts me today…
